چکیده
In this study, the morphological characteristics and length-weight relationships of Sciaena umbra (Linnaeus, 1758) belonging to Sciaenidae family, which is represented by five species in Mediterranean basin two Black Sea, were investigated. Sampling was carried out Sea Region (Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon) between March 2019 February 2020. A total 54 individuals sampled 15 different metric measurements performed each sample determine their characteristics. The mean length weight estimated as 357.8 mm (117-580) 845.3 g (16.4-2485.1), respectively. Total compared with morphometric characters lowest ratio found eye diameter (4.3%) highest anal distance (59.9%). relation correlation observed dorsal r2=0.993 height r2=0.938. strong (r2=0.993) wet relationship growth positive allometric b>3. This paper reports first documented species. It considered contribute fisheries biology international scientific literature.

The length- length (LLRs), length-weight (LWR) relationships and relative condition factor (Kn) of 505 specimens of pike, (Esox lucius Linnaeus, 1798) from Anzali Wetland, southwest of the Caspian Sea, were studied from April 2012 through March 2013. The length-length relationships among total length (TL), fork length (FL) and standard length (SL) for pike were found to be highly significan...

Spatio-Temporal Variation in Length-Weight Relationships and Condition of the Ribbonfish Trichiurus lepturus (Linnaeus, 1758): Implications for Fisheries Management
Knowledge of length-weight relationships for commercially exploited fish is an important tool for assessing and managing of fish stocks. However, analyses of length-weight relationship fisheries data typically do not consider the inherent differences in length-weight relationships for fish caught from different habitats, seasons, or years, and this can affect the utility of these data for devel...

The green turtle (Chelonia mydas) has been a species of global concern for decades. As an attempt to study health status of nesting green turtles, Blood biochemistry and hematological values were obtained from 18 clinically normal, nesting female green sea turtles on the northern coast of the sea of Oman. Mean curved carapace length (CCL) was 111±4 cm with a range of 103—122 cm. Barnacles were ...
